This was our first time at this park. We wanted to do a 3 night camping trip. When we got there, we were put in the new area with sites that have on site sewer and 50 amp service. The sites had no power because it were never turned on at the main electrical panels. We had to do it ourselves. The RV pads and roads were black asphalt, which absorbs the sun and is extremely hot in this heat. In addition, the hitch on my camper sunk into the asphalt due to the asphalt being so hot. Camper parking pads should be always be concrete! It was very muddy with a lot of red clay, which was very messy. We came to find out that those sites shouldn't have been booked because construction wasn't finished in that area. But someone at the park messed up and rented out those sites. So that explains why that area was in the condition it was in. The rest of the park is great. Nice beach and campground! Nice view of the lake from the 50 amp campsites!

This park was very clean and well maintained when I visited. The beach area is fairly long for a small lake beach and wasn't crowded at all early in the day at least. The nature trail was nice and they do have what looks to be a fairly well maintained putt putt course which I *wanted* to play but husband ixnayed because it was too hot (wimp 😉). Giving this four stars rather than five only because I've only visited once thus far. I definitely plan on going again though! The photo is of a turtle in sunning in the non-beach area of the lake... Because I like turtles!!!

What a hidden gem of a park. We had electric and water which is expected from a county park. It was first come first serve as far as picking out a site. We lucked out as someone was leaving the biggest site (#27) there was there. Plus there was a water wheel and waterfall at the end of the site. The site was at least a couple hundred feet long. Plus there were branches etc available to collect for firewood. There is a nice lake to walk to.

Relaxing! Quiet. On the Saturday afternoon we were there it was a beautiful day. No concessions were open, but there were drink machines. Bathrooms were clean and again no crowd. Plenty of room for the little ones to play and grills for cooking. Pets allowed, but not on the beach.
